Meet the Peer Mentor: Henry

HI

My name is Henry Daniels and I am a Junior at Maryville College.  I am pursuing a degree in mathematics with minors in statistics and biology. I am a Scots Science Scholar as well as a Bonner Scholar so I devote a large part of my time to service work at the Martin Luther King Jr. Center in Alcoa. I am also on the Student Programming Executive Board as the Marketing Co-chair. You can also expect to see me in Organismal Biology Lab as I will be a laboratory assistant. Currently, I am a data analyst intern for the Great Smoky Mountain Institute at Tremont, but I am also working on a research project concerning scaling of colleges. What I most look forward to in the S3 program is guiding the new Scot Science Scholars in their endeavors to become successful Maryville College students, but also I’m excited about the cheese lab. I love cheese!
